Boys on Exhibit

Can you tolerate one more memory from Junior High? I see you are taking a break but I'll go ahead and write it down.

Hell yes!! These are some of my faves, I hope the readers enjoy them too.

Eric

I think the coach at my Junior High was tone deaf (as they say today) about nudity and modesty.

He sometimes called people to his office when they didn't have a stitch on. Also he walked around in the locker room while people changed, also taking a look at guys in the showers.

That was seventh and eighth grade when I had to take P.E. Well, the very next year we had to go to take a week (maybe two weeks) of human reproduction classes. Boys were taught of course by that coach and scheduled in the locker room where we all sat on the changing benches.

What I will never forget, he came to circumcision and in the middle of the lesson he calls out two boys, saying "Keller, Delgado, strip real quick." It got absolutely silent in that room. I could not believe what he said and the others must have been just as stunned. This was not P.E. which they would have to change and shower for, it was a class. But he went on telling them

"Hustle, hustle, we haven't got all day."

Well, I knew that Keller had a good-sized dick because of being with him in P.E. Delgado, I didn't know anything about. Pretty soon, with the coach hurrying them up, he's got them standing on a bench in full view of everybody. Their dicks are hanging in front of us like merchandise at Woolco. And coach is using a ruler to point at their dicks to explain circumcision and male hygiene.

Delgado's dick was even bigger than Keller's, as well as completely hidden inside its sheath. After a few minutes the coach gives each of them a little swat on the butt with his ruler and says

"Thank you, men."

Then he tells the whole class to give them a round of applause for being good sports. So there we are clapping for two guys forced to strip in front of 75 or 100 of their peers. All we could whisper about at lunch was not the difference between circumcision and uncircumcision, but our hunch that coach had knowing picked the two largest dicks in the school for his little show and tell exhibit.

  1. Oh man, this is such a gas! I can totally see it happening back in the good old days. I am laughing my nuts off over the scene in the locker room, the two dudes having to show their junk and everybody else gots all their clothes fully on and looking at them! Excellent! Thank you!

  2. I took swim lessons at the YMCA starting in 1963 when I was 8 years old. For my mom it was a difficult decision to send me there because the Catholic church did not approve if the "Y" at all. But my parents wanted me to learn how to swim, and this was the best place for it, so they signed me up. At that time, about two-thirds of the kids took their lessons nude. The instructor was also nude. My mom told me I was ALWAYS to wear my swimsuit (although me and my friend decided to be "wicked" and for a couple of the lessons we also went to the pool stripped naked to see what it felt like, then wet our swimsuits in the shower after the class.)
In 7th grade I switched to public school, and it was quickly made known to all of us boys that we were all to strip naked and shower at the end of every gym class. And it seems like the standard at the time everywhere was that gym teachers walked around to make sure all of us young pubescent boys did indeed strip down and shower. It was embarrassing at first, but I think most all of us quickly got used to it and it honestly became no big deal. I am writing this because I think the social norm of the time was to socialize us to find nudity in such situations among all men and boys to be completely no big deal. And it worked. At the same time in life, at summer Boy Scout camp, our whole troop went to the shower house and we all showered together. From the tiniest little Scout to the fattest Scoutmaster, we all showered together. And it was no big deal.
Now, today, I think our young people have been socialized to be extremely private with their body, and any male of any significant age difference must obviously be a pedophile or pervert to be anywhere near any teenage boy who needs to change his clothes or shower. I think (in the USA) we've moved from a same-sex nudity-comfortable society to a nudity paranoid society, and I believe it's unfortunate.

    1. Apparently this author did not anticipate this comment would be strung along. I felt it closely paralleled the topic and left it as a comment. Sorry guys, hope everyone gets a read.

  3. oh yea those good old days in the locker room. we all had to strip naked. we all had to take showers together. (Not like today were they do not have to take a shower or strip naked in P.E.),None of us boys never minded one bit to strip naked in front of all the other boys.Heck! we even paraded around naked showing off our stuff. We never had a class that told us about the boys body. Or the difference between circumcise or uncircumcised dicks. We learnt that on our own. Thanks for sharing your great experience in jr. high.

  4. I think society and coaches back then were preparing guys to go into military service. My grandfather heard me complaining about PE and said "What are you going to do when you're in the army?" They were the generation of the big war and just assumed every boy would spend a few years living in barracks without any privacy. Even if there was not a war right at the moment.

    1. Maybe you're right. It was a time when there was a draft and a large percentage of boys did military service. It would be good prep for those close living conditions to not be shy or hung up about others seeing you naked.

    2. I had not considered the communal Military format of youth leadership. Seems to be a plausible condition of this coaches unique form of teaching.

  5. Can you imagine a coach doing that today. He would be arrested. The whole story would be on the news. The police would try to protect the boys by not naming them, but the reporters would just ask some of the other guys and soon their identity would be known. The parents of the two boys would sue the school district for inflicting trauma on their sons. Other parents would raise a stink about their boys being forced to view the evil of male nakedness. The principal would be forced to resign, and after him the superintendent too. The school district's insurance would pay millions and then refuse to renew the policy. The Delgados and Kellers would be on every TV interview program. Mr. Delgado would cry about the whole world finding that his son was uncircumcised. The interviewer would ask Mr. Delgado "Are YOU circumcised?" Delgado would punch him out on-camera and the video would go viral. The Kellers would hire a writer and release a "tell-all" book. Everybody would be in an absolute hissy today over something that was just part of life in our parents' or grandparents' day. We have become "too" civilized.

  6. "Too" civilized, you say. Would you go back to the days of racial prejudice, harsh school discipline, and blindly obeying dumb authority? Give me today where the emphasis is on thinking for yourself instead of accepting injustice because "that's the way it's always been." I personally would have told that coach to go screw himself.

    1. This comment caused me to consider hitting the delete button due to the challenging tone. I prefer to only censor comments that would jeopardize the continuance of the blog. So, I ask you guys to take the high road and don't start a squabble.

  7. Where has this site been hiding! I must of read 20 or 30 of your stories last night and got up this morning wanting more! I won't be able to concentrate in class (no, I am not underage). I have to comment about the coach demonstrating circumcision. That is so hilarious! He acted like it was so normal for two naked guys to stand in front of the whole class. I was LMAO and thinking how funny if one of them got a boner! Or if the coach made the whole class walk past while he looked at each boy: "Cut. Cut. Cut. Uncut. Cut. Cut. Cut. Umm, partially cut... Jackson, make that erection go away..."

    1. Wow it's inspiring to receive this manner of approval. We've been around about 6 years and you'll have plenty to read as there are over 1,000 stories in print here. Ouch probably determined that most are average guys who want to share their experiences. If the world only knew how common these event s were perhaps there wouldn't be such hysteria over anyone who expresses same gender interest.

Anyway send us a story of your own.

      Thanks A Bunch
